Abstract
Tolstoy evrensel bir yazardır. Otobiyografik bir yazar olarak, Goethe’ye benzemektedir. Yazarlık mesleğine otobiyografik bir triloji (Çocukluk, ilk Gençlik ve Gençlik) ile girmiştir. Büyük romanlarında Piyer, Levin ve Neklyudov adlar altında kendisini vermiştir. Eserlerinde Rousseau gibi kendisini olduğu gibi anlatma çalışmıştır. Tolstoy’un, görüşlerini, suçlarını ortaya koymaktan çekinmediği en önemli eseri İtiraflarım’dır. Bu çalışmamızda inceleyeceğimiz Diriliş romanı ise yaşlılık döneminin ürünüdür. Romanda, genç Neklyudov yoksul kız Maslova’yı baştan çıkarıp terk eder. Maslova, Neklyudov yüzünden felaketlerle dolu bir yaşama sürüklenir ve bu acıyı tek başına çekmeye çalışır. Seneler sonra mahkemeye çıkarılan Maslova ile karşılaşan Neklyudov, zavallı kadının bu hale düşmesine kendisinin sebep olduğunu düşünür. Abstract
Tolstoy is a universal author. He resembles to Goethe as an autobiographical author. He started authorship with an autobiographical trilogy (Childhood, early Youth and Youth). He mentioned himself under the names Piyer, Levin and Neklyudov in his great novels. Like Rousseau, he tried to explain himself as is in his works. A Confession is the most important work by Tolstoy in which he does not avoid setting forth his opinions and crimes. The novel Resurrection, which will be analyzed by us in this study of ours, is the product of old age. In the novel, the young man Neklyudov seduces and leaves the poor girl Maslova. Maslova enters into a life full of disasters because of Neklyudov and tries to overcome this grief alone. Encountering Maslova who is taken into court after years, Neklyudov thinks that he caused this situation of the poor woman.
