Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, bir okuma çeşidi olan yaratıcı okumanın alan yazındaki durumuna dikkat çekmek ve yaratıcı okumanın hangi aşamalardan geçtiğini tartışmak ve göstermektir. Çalışmada, okurun yaratıcı okuma sürecini gerçekleştirirken hangi stratejileri kullanması gerektiği, yaratıcı okuma kategorileri, okuma seviyeleri, yoğun okuma ve ilkeleri, yaratıcı okumanın genel görünümü, yaratıcı okuma çeşitleri, yaratıcı okumanın yapısı ve süreci gibi konulara açıklık getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ülkemizde bu alanda yapılan çalışmaların sınırlılığı ve etkinliklerin henüz yeterli düzeyde olmaması dikkat çekicidir. Okumayı işlevsel hâle getirme, okuma becerilerinin geliştirilmesi, yaratıcılık, hayal gücü ve anlamanın daha iyi seviyelere çıkarılması açısından bu çalışmanın alandaki eksikliğin giderilmesi adına bir boşluğu doldurması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma nitel bir çalışma olup veriler doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir.

Abstract
The purpose of this study, to draw attention to the situation of creative reading which is kind of a reading in the field of literature, to show and to discuss in the late stages of creative reading. In the study, while improving the reader's creative reading process what strategies is required to use, creative reading categories, reading levels, intensive reading and principles, the general view of creative reading, kinds of creative reading, the structure of creative reading and ıts process such as clarification on issues has been studied. In our country limitations of the studies in this field, and the activities’ being not sufficient level is remarkable. For improving reading and reading skills as functional, creativity, imagination and for a better level of understanding ıt is intended to fill in the gap and to remove deficiency in this field. The study is a qualitative study data is obtained by the method of document analysis.
