Abstract

Handcrafts are products with esthetic values that are created and developed in order to meet all kinds of needs of humanbeings. Copper, as well as gold and silver mines which are factors in the development of Turkish handicrafts, played an important role in the formation of both palace and folk arts. Copper which can be processed easily, red brown color, found in stream beds in nature, oxidized is widely used. Copper, which was extremely effective in the development of mining art, has preserved its importance for centuries all over Anatolia but has lost its former value today. Copper items that are in danger of extinction today is important to evaluate past examples in order to transfer them to future generations. Copper kitchenware that is the subject of the research belonging to İzzet Mehmet Pasha contains 3 copper bottles and tankards with single handle and double handle are exhibited in safranbolu museum. Tankards with 19 double handle and 4 single handle and 10 copper bottles are in museum store. Izzet Mehmet Pasha made many charity works , foundations established and registered them with the foundations he prepared during his duty. These are handicraft products that have existed until today; these handcraft products was devoted to be used in mevleutes in copper items in the city museum,
