Abstract

The role of social support in business life has become undeniably evident, people cannot manage the negative situations they experience in the workplace on their own. Accordingly, job satisfaction is also visibly reduced. It is extremely important for individuals to know their personality traits better and to transfer these characteristics in a healthy way. The purpose of this study is to provide relevant information on the effects of personality traits on business life, the role of social support in stress and job satisfaction, and in what situations this support will be experienced, and what differences it may cause in the workplace. In the first part of the research, a literature research about job stress and job satisfaction is given. In the second part, job stress, social support relationship and job satisfaction models are mentioned. Also in this section, the relationship between personality and personal characteristics and job satisfaction is emphasized. In the third part, information is given about job stress, job satisfaction and the shaping role of social support. In line with the information obtained in the last section, there is a negative connection between job stress and social support, there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and social support, gender differences in job satisfaction are not observed, job satisfaction decreases with an increasing education level, and education level and job satisfaction A more complex, nonlinear relationship was observed.
