Abstract

The argument of this article is the effect of widespread technological models which are used in contemporary art and international biennials, to the art, art piece notion and the artist. International art biennials take place every two year. International artists are invited to the biennials by the invitation of the curator. New art installations are produced by the help of new technological developments. We can define this art as “new media art”. The audiences are getting more interested in this new media art every day. This new situation of art changes the relations between artists, curators and visitors and also their inner structures in a positive or negative way. Visitors of 58. International Venice Art Biennial had realised this important transformation of art during their visit. In the article, the effects and the results of technological models were discussed in the light of interviews and the views on Venice Biennial.
