Abstract

Employees’ job satisfaction is a factor that affects the performance of them significantly. Through this study, public personnel’s’ job satisfaction in Şanlıurfa National Education Directorates and effects of their demographic characteristics on the most agreed and the least agreed items about it are investigated. Findings indicate that employees have job satisfaction at most while they are informed about the personnel change the least. Married workers compared to singles one, moderately experienced ones (4-7 years) compared to others are found to have more job satisfaction. Findings can be utilized to develop politics and strategies in order to improve job satisfaction levels of the personnel
