Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the cultural factors that will enable the success of American foreign managers by determining the cultural differences and to evaluate the other influencing factors that affect the success of the American foreign manager in the host country. The legal reasons underlying the obligation of American citizen to work in the host countries where American foreign managers are appointed are to inform American foreign managers about the cost of operating as a foreign administrator to the enterprises in the host countries and to explain the taxation legislation applied by the US to American foreign executives.
