Abstract

Communication concept is a fact that exists between all creatures and is arisen from their communication need in principle. The requirements on communication can be met with many methods. At this point, graphic design is one of the most important visual means of communication. In this article, culture of communication, which comes into existence in terms of graphic arts is addressed and analysed in the direction of contemporary designing principles on the basis of the date of modern art and design. In this study, firstly accessibility power to the masses of graphic design products is tried to be analysed from the “culture of social communication” perspective. In this evaluation, relationship of the strategies approach to the culture of graphic communication with writing and written expression concepts is discussed with semiotic context as a design element, and the findings which are determined throughout design are tried to be explained and commented semantically. As long as it can reflect the values, which can be integrated with the culture of social communication, the culture of graphic communication to the extent of design will reach desired success in graphic design products.
