Abstract

The purpose of this research is to contribute a different approach to there pertoire of educational musics to be played in the “Orchestra and Chamber” courses taught in the 3rd and 4th year of the music departments of educational faculties. A specific method utilizing both descriptive and experimental methods is used in the research. The scope of the research has two dimensions, one of them is the content in Orchestra and Chamber music courses, and the other is the teaching staff interviewed fort his research. The applied part of the scope consists of the adaptation of W.A. Mozart’s 40th Symphonie’s first part in G minör by the reduction methot fort he subjects. As a result of there search; It can be said that all the faculty members of the faculty of education have difficulty in finding symphonic repertoire suitable fort he orchestral chamber music classes and sother eduction studies should be supported. Statistical Frequency (f) and percentile (%) values of the data have been used in the research.
