Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the problems of instructor and teacher interns during the internship period. Phenomenological research design from qualitative research method is used in this study. For this purpose, within the framework of the faculty-school cooperation program, semi-structured interviews were used with 14 teaching staff and 14 teacher intern who working in different departments in education faculty of well-established university. The data collection tool was prepared by the researchers and a semi-structured interview form with open-ended questions was used. In the analysis of data obtained from semi-structured interviews, NVivo 12 program was used. In the analysis of data, descriptiveanalysis method was used from qualitative data analysis techniques. As a result of the research; It was determined that the teaching staff and teacher candidates could not attend the internship school to listen to the lecture, the teacher candidates did not get feedback on the reports they prepared and they had communication problems with the teachers. Teacher interns stated that they could not get efficiency from the internship school they were sent to, and that there were some problems arising from the opportunities of the branch teacher and the school. These problems are not to be seen as teachers by the branch teachers and to mislead them.
