DETERMINATION OF MOTIVATIONAL SOURCES IN ESTABLISHING POSITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IN CLINICS

Abstract

Objective: The aim of the research; development of motivational resources in creating positive learning environment in clinics. Method: The research was descriptive and was carried out with nursing students studying at a university health school. The population of the study was composed of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students in the nursing department. The data were collected by using the questionnaire which was prepared by the researchers, socio-demographic characteristics, questions about the clinical environment, and the Clinical Learning Environment Scale. The data were analyzed statistically using SPSS 21.0 package program Results: 164 (74.5%) female and 56 (25.5%) male students participated in the study. It was found that 70.9% of the nursing students who participated in the research were answered as "they voluntarily choose nursing profession", 83.2% of them were answered as" they are happy for learning the nursing profession", 98.6% were answered as “being a part of the treatment by nurses motivates them to learn.” and 9.1% of respondents were answered as "informing about drugs by nurses motivates learning during the treatment". Conclusion: As a result of the research, it has been determined that the learning environments of the students have positively affects on the learning processand motivating the student in a positive way.
