Abstract

In traditional lithography, the basic methodology was developed with highly complex and finely tuned chemistry, including the use of tar, tallow, acids, soaps, solvents, and the like. Unfortunately, many of these things are harmful to health. Detailed safety measures are required to implement this type of lithography with a reasonable degree of safety. Modern lithography applications have the advantage of being a user-friendly, safe printing method. In the beginning, in the commercial printing, the aluminum sheet was adopted as a cheaper alternative to the lithium lithium, but these applications were adopted by the printing arts and industry. Since they became widespread in the market in the late 1990s, modern practices have become increasingly popular for the production of small and medium-sized prints of lithographic prints and with artists and educators experimenting in lithography. Modern lithography applications, which are not toxic in many ways, are less complex than traditional stone and metal plate lithography methods. In this article, modern applications such as Mokulito - Japanese wood plate lithography, Polyester plate lithography, photograph plate lithography and waterless lithography are described.
