Abstract

Modernization affects every part of society in different dimensions. As social problems vary, governments have to produce different policies in different problem areas for each sector. Issues such as women's poverty, aged care, addiction, and the prevention of neglect and abuse of children are the social policy issues that the states focus on. The existence of groups in need of protection or priority policy, the increasing global income inequality, the proliferation of these masses have made social policies vital. In many respects, there is a process in which there are various problems for children who are in need of protection. Issues such as child care, education, technology and drug addiction are among the main topics of public policies for children. The steps for the development of sport-oriented supportive policies for children are undoubtedly important for future generations. In this study, child protection practices which are very important for children are discussed. The size of the child protection system in Turkey in sports, problematic areas, given the legislation and recommendations, and a study was made based on a literature review.
