Abstract

It is known that there is a comprehension that the violin lectures in conservatories are more teacher-centered and have master-apprentice relationship efficiently. Violin educators have to think about how they teach, what they teach, when they teach the domain-specific skills and abilities. They must be able to do self assessment for the input, process and output situation of student and make improvements towards education process. In this study it is aimed to describe the approaches of educators who are thought to have a positive effect on lecture in violin lectures that are carried on in conservatories. In accordance with this purpose the opinions was taken with structured interview forms and the data was analyzed by means of the qualitative analysis techniques. The study that is based on the descriptive and scanning models is thought to be unique and contributive to the field.
