Abstract

Gaius Octavius(Augustus), who lived between B.C.63 – A.D.14, is a statesman who has made Rome live the brightest and peak period of its history. The first years of Gaius Octavius, the architect of the transition from Republic to Empire which was the last stage of Rome’s political life consisting of three stages and the first emperor, were spent at the center city of Rome. Gaius Octavius, who grew up in a position adjacent to the Roman political life through his family, completed her development to be in the cradle of socio-political life through his great uncle Julius Caesar. Gaius Octavius, who was not very bright in the first years of his life, will shine his star as he is the successor of Julius Caesar. At the age of 19, this young politician, who officially started the political life with the establishment of the II.Triumvirate, will emerge succesfully from the internal conflicts of the Roman Republic period, especially from the political conflicts in Rome after Julius Caesar. Gaius Octavius, who transformed the misty political atmosphere of Rome with his mind, intelligence and policy experience at a young age, will be the cornerstone of the rebuilding of Rome. Gaius Octavius, who contributed to the overcome of the political crisis in Rome after Julius Caesar II with the administration of the II.Triumvirate, is also the founder and the lead actor of this trio management, which will be the second in the history of Rome.
