Abstract

Corporate social responsibility is initially limited to economic and legal aspects; It has become a phenomenon that has an impact on the social dimension. Participation of corporate employees in corporate social responsibility activities in the social dimension of CSR increases their benevolence and sense of volunteerism and strengthens their commitment to their institutions. In this study, the theoretical framework was created according to Rosabeth Moss Kanter's approach to organizational commitment. The approach defines organizational commitment as transferring the commitment of individuals to the social system, adapting their personalities and relationships to meet their needs. CSR activities, which are one of the social dimensions of CSR, affect CSR activities and increase corporate loyalty. The aim of this study is to measure the link between the effect of altruistic behavior and organizational commitment on institutions with CSR activity. For this purpose, a semi-structured interview form consisting of 10 questions was formed. Afterwards, 10 individuals among 50 individuals in Social Responsibility Club, which were in a leading financial institution, were selected by random sampling method and interviews were applied. The results were presented according to the questions and the results were reflected.
