Abstract

Poverty in economic science is an issue that macroeconomics has been interested in for a long time in the world of globalization. The poverty, which is an obstacle for growth and development which is one of the aims of each country, has been tried to be defined and measured by academics. The purpose of this study is; identifying poverty is to investigate the economic effects of poverty. Within the framework of the literature, the countries were divided into three groups. High-Income Countries, Upper-Middle-Income Countries and Lower-Middle-Low-Income Countries; Generalized Moments Method (GMM) were analyzed using data from 2008-2016. Per capita Gross Domestic Product (per GDP), Human Development Index (HDI), Corruption Perception Index (CPI), Democracy Index (DE), Welfare Index (WE), Public Expenditure Amount (PEA) and Loan Share (LS) variables The effects of the three countries were investigated.
