The poverty, which is an obstacle for growth and development which is one of the aims of each country, has been tried to be defined and measured by academics. The purpose of this study is; identifying poverty is to investigate the economic effects of poverty. Within the framework of the literature, the countries were divided into three groups. High-Income Countries, Upper-Middle-Income Countries and Lower-Middle-Low-Income Countries; Generalized Moments Method (GMM) were analyzed using data from 2008-2016.
