Abstract

Migration is a situation that starts with the history of humanity and has a great influence on the past of people and nations. Leaving a place where a community or individual lived has several difficulties. Various factors such as natural disasters, wars, economic troubles, and mobilization seem to be the causes of resentment. When Turkish history is examined, it is seen that Turks are not strangers to immigration. Different Turkish tribes spread from Central Asia to various parts of the world at different times. An intense part of the Turks also went from Central Asia to Anatolia and from Anatolia to the Balkans. After the failure of the Ottoman State in Ninety-Three War, the Balkan Wars and the First World War, which kept the Balkans in their hands for a long time, the Turks in the Balkans immigrated to Anatolia again in masses. Reflecting the stories of Turks encountering various troubles while migrating to Anatolia. One of these works is a biographical novel by Vural Atılgan entitled "Mother A Pilgrimage to Van from Plevne".
