These registries in which political, economic, administrative, legal, religious and cultural documents are recorded contain many information that may shed light to culture and civilization. In that respect they are indispensable sources of local history studies. It is important that identification and indexing studies are carried out for şer’iyye registries since they contain valuable information on the period and location they belong to. Nearly all of the twenty şer’iyye registries of Inegöl town which have reached the present day belong to 19th century. B-368 numbered registry which contains the events of 1866 is the subject of this article because of the wide variety of the subjects. The studied registry contains documents about different subjects like; credit debit, grant, debt on pawn in economics; partition of inheritance, divorce, wedding licence, alimony, guardian, surrogate appointment, wedding engagement about family structure; lawsuit, inheritance conflict, agreement, wounding, sexual assault attribution on forensic incidents; command, regent assignment in administrative documents. Consequently, with this studied and demostrated registry, it is aimed to contribute to the people who would like to make a research about the socio-cultural and economic structure of the city.},author={Mustafa POLAT},year={2018},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
