EXAMINE TO PREDECTION BETWEEN MALADAPTIVE SCHEMES AND CHILDHOOD TRAUMAS

Abstract

Aim of the this study is examine to predection between early maladaptive schemes and childhood traumas. There are two important features at early maladaptive schemes. Firstly, schemes are solid unconditional belief, emotions which is accepted as truth by person and community. Secondly, schemes occure automatically and because of schemes have instict of survival, which is iterator, maintainer, resistanst of changing. Childhood trauma is based on physical, emotional and sexual abuse by their parents or caring. This study is based on relational scanning model. Sample of the study is 256 woman. Participants occured who accepted to join survey. Also participants remarked to join survey voluntary. According to the results of the study; there is positive relationship between emotional abuse, emotional deprivation, failure, social isolation, suppression of feelings, intercourse / dependence, privilege / inadequate self-control. There is a significant positive relationship between physical abuse and failure, pessimism, social isolation, seeking seeking, nesting / dependence, self-sacrifice, abandonment, punishment, imperfection, inability to face disease and threats and emotional deprivation. There is a positive correlation between sexual abuse and failure, pessimism, social isolation, seeking seeking, privilege / insufficient self-control, self-sacrifice, abandonment, punishment and imperfection. There is a significant positive correlation between childhood trauma and failure, intercourse / dependence, privilege / inadequate self-regulation. As childhood traumas increase, failure, nesting / dependence, privilege / insufficient self-regulation are increasing. According to the age variable of our study, there is a significant difference between emotional abuse, physical abuse, physical neglect and sexual abuse levels. Among people aged 35-40 years, physical abuse, physical abuse, physical neglect, and sexual abuse are the highest, whereas physical abuse is the highest among people aged over 40 years. According to the age variable of this study, there is a significant difference between the failure. Among the 35-40 years of age, it has the highest degree of imperfection. People in this age group may want something to be completed in their lives and their lives are in order. If their wishes are not met, they may feel a sense of failure in their inner world. There is a meaningful difference between age and disease and threats. Between 26-30 years of age, there is a high degree of intolerance in the face of diseases and threats.
