Abstract

Cultural Tourism is the more important area than the past. It is an expanding sectors of the world economy. Protected areas, particularly World Heritage sites, are some of tourism’s main attractions, and are subject to growing visi-tation. This paper aims to evaluate of cultural tourism in sustainability pers-pective in between Prag and Turkey’s open air museums. The study aims to evaluate the impressions in the fields of tourism, museology, planning, con-servation and management in a way to develop suggestions for our country. It is aimed to develop suggestions in this areas* with comparative studies on the field studies (*Urban conservation areas "The Historical Peninsula" and rural conservation areas-Cappadocia). These areas have features that are worth examining in every respect. The findings of the study show that open-air museums are a successful method. This approach which reinforces the success of cultural tourism; while a method for Prague, is evaluated in the form of a solution to Turkey.
