In this quantitative research was used experimental design with pretest-posttest control group and as a data collection tool was used sight reading evaluation scale adapted to guitar by Uyan (2012). Experimental dimension of the study with 8 personality experiment and control groups formed from Ordu University Music and Performing Arts Faculty Music Department students is completed. As a result of this study was identified that regional sight reading method positively impacted on play with right note, ability to play with the right rhythm, play acceptable tempo, phrasing, nuance, technical, skill with integrity playing but the method did not affect on the ability to play without looking at the hands and to play with the right finger number. In the direction of this data it is possible to say that regional sight reading method developed for the classical guitar can be used as a resource for the development of the guitar sight reading in institutions providing professional music education.},author={Kaan ÖZTUTGAN-- Yakup Alper VARIŞ},year={2018},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
