With this great book Smith presented a very realistic economic system vision for Western countries. The leading sociologists like Tönnies, Simmel, Durkheim and Weber was frightened and excited by the rapid urbanization, industrialization, scientific revolutions, technological advances and rising rationalisation which were taking place in Europe. These leading sociologists were making researches which were mainly based on “social relations”. Capitalism, modern economics and sociology entered Ottoman society with Tanzimat Reforms. However, there were no educated, rational, reliable and calculative individuals to realize industrialization and capitalism in the Ottoman society.
