The aim of this study is to trace the influence Shamanism and Tengrism in Fahrettin Sertertelli’s Asyadan Bir Güneş Doğuyor (A Sun Rising in Asia) novel. The novel, which deals with the life of the Turks in the Central Asia, includes very rich materials in this respect. The historical and geographical decors are presented with Tengrism and Shamanism.
