This index value is calculated by taking the average of basic human needs, baselines of wealth and opportunities sub-indices. In this study, 132 countries are classified in terms of social development status using sub-variables that constitute the social development index. For this classification, robust statistical methods are used in accordance with the data structure. As a result of the analysis, the contributions of these variables, which constitute the social development index, to the index have been determined. Using these coefficients, the index can be improved.
