The abstract art movement that occured after many modern art movements with its obscure roots has been accepted as the artist’s form of self expression. Abstract art is described as an effort to simplify the nature of objects around the artist, without any message concern. Textile designers influenced by abstract artists, have used the plastic dialect of art in all simple textile products for everyday use. Today, design is at the heart of all areas of textiles, and art is the main focus of all designers dealing with textile.
