Because the movements to protect the natural life and the environment have been active throughout the world in the 1980s, and the media has been focusing on the subject, an increase in consumers' desire for environmentally friendly products has been observed. As a result, in many countries, consumers have begun to prefer products that are produced by materials and methods that do not harm the environment and human health and that can be destroyed without harming the environment when they reach the waste condition. Along with the increase in awareness of the environment and the importance given to human health, limitations have been introduced to the harmful chemicals used in the conversion of raw deep into the product. Leather and leather products, which are among the indispensable parts of the fashion industry today, diversify their usage areas and forms with the progress of innovative technology. The 'Wet-white leather', which is considered as an innovative product in leather production, seems to have a structure that is suitable for product development while protecting its deep natural properties without using chemicals which are toxic during tanning process. 'Wet-white leather' is a new impression for the fashion industry because it has a structure that facilitates designing fashion pieces with the feature of being an organic skin with a not yet common production.
