Abstract

Co-occurrence includes links created by the associated words only because they are used in the same context. In other words, it is stated that words that tend to be used together in texts that process the same subjects are in a co-occurrence relationship with each other. In this work, it is aimed to examine the values in the two books written by the two great masters of Turkish literature in the context of the co-occurrence words, considering that co-occurrence words have important functions in the transfer of values. Sabahattin Ali's "Three Tales", Yasar Kemal's "Pencils" is a document review of the method of research aimed at describing the synchronic phenomena in children's books. When the options and suboptions are created, the researcher first exploits the domain knowledge and other work done for the same purpose and determines the start codes.
