Ceramics is the most used material in the architecture in the past and today. In this sense Anadolu embraces the richest background in its geographic area. The architectural elements and decorative styles used in private and public constructions are very rich, unique and striking. Through these constructions,dozens of cultural heritages inherited has been passed on to future generations. This rich cultural heritage is also a source of inspiration for artists seeking new quests. One of the basic duties and functions of art education institutions is to build bridges between tradition and contemporary by combining scientific research, theoretical courses with art and science, as well as practice. Because taking advantage of this accumulation and reaching out to the universal path will be the strongest support to bring young artist candidates to new horizons.
