Abstract

Melih Cevdet Anday's novel, İsa’nın Güncesi which was published in 1974, describes the alienation of Jesus against him and his surroundings. The alienation of Jesus creates a dialectical with Albert Camus's absurd concept. The life of Jesus who cannot locate his existence on any ground, is similar to the fate of Sisyphos.
