Abstract

In this research, it was critized how public domination is used for building and regenerating of visual and written media industry through analysis. While explaining and scrutinizing party journalism, it was also determined how government affects the media management which has a power over people’s thoughts and opinions. Manufacturing of consent is explained in the manner of how it occurs in mass communication and how it becomes a normal and natural by giving epitome. At referendum of constitutional amendment for presidential government in 16 April 2017, while being in the process of yes-no, how presses’ visual and written section acts and plays an important role between public and dominant government was content analyzed in this paper. How groove of the media-political and economic relations in Turkey and is focused on the development. The media companies that examined the issues in the referendum process and what kind of discourse they developed were analyzed by means of content analysis.
