An example of that historical structure is İzmir Hacı Sadık Efendi Işhanı (the historical commercial building named Hacı Sadık Efendi, Izmir-Turkey). When the historical Işhanı is examined, it is observed that the works are not given enough importance and the Işhanı was gradually abandoned or, even if used, it is not given sufficient care to works. Recently, the Işhanı has been transformed into sales outlets that make up bridal items. In this study, the data about Hacı Sadık Efendi İşhanı with approximate one hundred-year-old has been reached through some visual and written sources. The historical features of the Kütahya tiles, which were brought from Kütahya during the construction of the building, and the restoration results, that had been spent before, are documented with photographs and drawings. The data obtained show that the process leading to the disappearance of the Işhanı can only be prevented by a professional restoration work. Just as it is in all historical buildings, it is a prerequisite for the preservation and restoration of the Işhanı to be carried out consciously and to transfer historical values more healthily to future generations.},author={Serap IŞIKHAN-- Ayşen ÇAM},year={2018},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
