According to this purpose the five newspapers which have the highest circulation was chosen by purposive sampling method. These newspaper’s football news were content analyzed. To validate the analyzes intercoders reliability ratio was calculated. After analysis 222 methaphors was found. Most of these methaphors were about team symbols and violence related.
