Abstract

The ethical leadership levels of secondary school administrators were examined according to the teachers’ opinion in this research. The research was carried out with the participation of 528 teachers working in Gaziantep central districts.The data were collected by the Ethical Leadership scale developed by Yımaz (2005) The data obtained in the study were analyzed with descriptive statistics such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation, standard error, t- test and one way variance analysis(ANOVA). Ethics leadership and the sub-dimensions of ethical leadership do not differ according to gender, marital status, educational status, age,school working time,school type and branch, reached the result differentiated according to seniority.Ethical leadership and sub-dimensions of the teachers with vocational seniority 1-10 years were found to be higher than the teachers with seniority 11-20 years.
