Thus, in different periods of the Egyptian history, we can see Pharaohs women. However, the most important mechanisms of the central authority, was present in the control of Pharaoh. Pharaoh was considered to be the representative of God on earth. This belief has changed over time and when Pharaohs got strong they declared themselves God. With this power they controlled the government as well as the religious rites. To demonstrate strict religious power, Pharaohs made people afraid and the people showed great respect and loyalty.
