Abstract

Human relationships develop within the social circles that grow as family, kinship, neighborhood in terms of belonging, cooperation, privacy, love and respect. The need for shelter brings many spaces and equipments that are shared, amused, co-produced by the city and the architecture, with the development of human social relations.Social life has an important influence on the shaping of spaces and equipments in architecture and urban scale. The needs of the social life brought together architectural and urban solutions in traditional urban fabric.Urban and architectural solutions that have evolved over time in these urban fabrics have become the right values that architects and city district planners have taken as examples.Although traditional urban fabrics have an organic structure which develops spontaneously according to the geographical region, they have common values based on human relations. There are many academic studies and analyzes in this context; but from a social point of view it can be argued that a common architectural and urban picture can be put in place. The aim of this study is to show the common architectural and urban values of the traditional textures, which are taken from the social life perspective through examples.
