Abstract

“Painting”, is accepted as the most artistic activity in the 17th century. Although classical impact is seen at Dutch painting art at this period as in architecture as well as painting art were not stick to classical rules. Nowadays, people visiting museums in the Netherlands when they meet17th century painters,they are surprised at similarities of Dutch views in their paintings. Similarities, nearly belonged to three hundred years ago, Johannes Vermeer’s (1632-1675) "Gezicht op Delft"(Delft View, 1660-1661)named painting affect people deeply. As it happened in Meindert Hobbema’s (1638-1709) works. This study will try to analyze artistic style of Meindert Hobbema and reasons of 17th century why it was accepted as “golden age” in the reality concept. Cultural successes at the golden era of The Netherlands by way of their standards were extraordinary but contexts and these successes of them were interesting. On the other hand, many landscape painters made realist paintings in the 17th century and in the Netherlands a lot of unique, technically new and successful not known certain numbers of them and not despised works emerged.
