Abstract

Most of the hadith methodist say that they don’t accept siyar writers are reliable. For this reason, they hesitate to transmission of narration. They severely criticize the first siyar writers such as Ibn Ishaq, Waqidi and Ibn Sa’d and claim that they can not be narrated by them. We created this study by setting out from the claims that siyar writers are unreliable and they narrate their unsafe narratives. We compared the chain of narratives used by the hadith and siyar writers and the text of the same news text while conveying a narrative about the Badr War. This comparation will take us to the result of if there are similarities between these two narratives in both of chain narrative and in point of text. In related to the Badr War news, in case the chain of narration used by hadith and siyar writers are same or similiar, in this case, we will reach the result that they benefited from the same narrator pool. Thus, on the contrary of claims of hadith writers, it will come out the conclusion that these narrators benefited from the siyar narrators’ narratives. As a result of comparison on the contrary of the common view, it turned out that in a lot of narratives hadith narrators have used the chain of narratives used by siyar narrators. It has been seen that Ibn Ishaq is the most benefited author by the hadith writers even though the majority of hadith writers do not find him reliable.
