Abstract

The purpose of this work is to reveal the effectuation level of gainings of life in our school unit of Life Sciences lesson according to parents of first class students of primary school. With this purpose, survey model is used for the work and likert scale is used as data collection tool. Parents are asked for evaluating opinions about the gainings of life in our school unit of Life Sciences lesson from the frequency of “Yes, always” to the frequency of “No, never (1)” using the grades “5-1”. Data has been obtained from 93 parents in the education year of 2017-2018 in Adıyaman. According to data obtained; the students’/children’s effuctuation/state (point) of gainings of life in our school unit has been at the level of “very good”. Children’s/students’ state (point) of gainings of life in our school has shown a meaningful difference according to variables of school success and Life Sciences lesson success and there is a meaningful relation between gainings of school and Life Sciences lesson successes and life in our school unit. A meaningful relation between the states (points) of life in our school units gainings can’t be found according to the variables of parents’ being mother-father, economical conditions and sex.
