Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of the students studying in public secondary schools on entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation. In this research, working group consisted of a total of 240 students in grades 5,6,7 and 8 in a public secondary school located in district of Başakşehir, İstanbul in 2016-2017 educational year. The research was designed in a frame of qualitative research methods. The data were collected with semi-structured interview technique. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed with the content analysis. It was found out in the research that; 1.The students tried to solve school problems on their own. 2. The students developed different solution ways when they faced problems outside the school. 3. The students were not very willing to participate in different kinds of competition. 4. The students were generally placed in year-end events by their teachers. 5. The students wanted most to complete lacking school equipments when they considered themselves as a headmaster. 6. The students stated that they wanted most to invent technological inventions. 7. The students did not have much anxiety about the future. Their biggest dreams were related to their prospective professions.
