Abstract

Structuralism is a theory that is made up of some concepts of linguistics. Ferdinand attempts to construct a structuralist narrative grammar based on Saussure's distinctions such as language / word, diachronic/ synchronicity, indicator / concept. From this point of view, linguistics is the basis for the concepts of surface structure and deep structure of structuralists. This also implies the relationship between series and system. While the array is a constantly changing element, the system represents the unchanging construction of the backplane. From this point of view, the connection between the series and the system has an important role in fiction. This is because the sequential presentation is based on the system. In this study, a structural analysis was conducted and it was tried to show that the text handled in the framework of sequence-system relation was organized systematically.
