Abstract

Global developments bring competition to the forefront in every sector. In an evolving competitive environment, it is possible to maintain the presence of enterprises that are faced with global competition by adapting to the competitive environment. Competitiveness of countries is determined by sectoral competitive power. For this reason, the agricultural sector, which has a significant share in the development of our country and its employment, needs to be examined in terms of competitiveness by taking a holistic approach to the organic agricultural potential. Due to changes in consumption behavior and demand of importer countries, organic agriculture has gained huge importance in the world. The increasing domestic market demand in developed countries and the export potential in developing countries have stimulated organic agriculture. The share of organic agriculture compared with the conventional agricultural production is small in all countries. But very rapidly growing organic product market has all around the world.
