Abstract

The Second World War is one of the most difficult processes in Russian history of the twentieth century. For this reason, from the earliest days of the war, it is requested that all artists and writers be able to with stand the suffering of the Russian people and to create works to believe in victory. Literatur eassumes the role of mobilizing the feelings of the people and projection with all the reality what happened. In war years, slogans, banners, marches, films, etc. are used to bring these feelings to the top. In addition, all written texts included in literary arts are the factors that give hope and courage to the people who struggle during the war. Some of the mare novel, story, poetry, articles, essays. In the Second War years, many writers and poets was as soldiers on the front, many as reporters. Reporters' task is to inform the people behind the front about the war. Literature of the period enriched with experiences of front-writers and poets who personally experienced the war and with realist elements. I. Erenburg and V. Grossman also serve as reporters in many war zones. Their articles and essays make a big effect on the public. In this study, V. Grossman’s and İ. Erenburg's writings on war impressions and his thoughts on war were evaluated. Along with some different approaches, it exposed that both authors are very influential on the Soviet people. I. Erenburg attaches importance tendency of victory belief and hate towards the Germans in his writings. V. Grossman strives to explain the war with all the truth.
