Abstract
Aksaray province which is one of the important centres of Silk Road in Central Anatolia Region has undergone great changes within the historical process and has become a dynamic city bearing the cultural traces of the Seljuk and Ottoman states. Aksaray which is among the priority illusions in development in Turkey, with what it has historical, natural, cultural and touristic riches is a prominent city. For this reason, rapid population growth and cultural activities are important. The development of a city in economic sense is inevitably related to population and demographic structure, education, culture and social structure. In this study, it is aimed to give information about current city dynamics such as population, economy, nature, tourist attractiveness, culture and education structure of Aksaray city and to explain the changes and transformations that the city has experienced. In our study, firstly general information about the topic was given then the analysis of provincial dynamics was done by taking advantage of the table. Lastly, like Aksaray, the suggestions were presented by discussing what could be done to develop the provincial dynamics in developmental priorities in Turkey. This study is thought to be an important source of data for Aksaray city studies.
