Sport Motivation Scale (Pelletier et al., 1998) were used for data collection. The data was analysed by descriptive statistics and t test. Level of significance was determined to be 0.05. According to the results, the motivation levels of the female athletes were the lowest at 51.04 and the highest at 163.04; it is seen that the lowest in males is 108.18 and the highest in males is 169.25. There was no significant difference in the level of motivation of the athletes according to the sex variable (p = 0,961> 0,05). Since there is no significant difference between the variables, the effect size is very weak (cohen d = 0,01).
