Küçükelmalı Nature Park Area was formerly open to the public as a recreation spot in Type “B”. However, with Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs approval dated 11.07.2011 numbered 903, it was declared a Nature Park with an area of 10.3 hectares, having a different status now. Later, the natural park area was expanded to 61.9 hectares upon the Ministry approval dated 02.11.2015 numbered 1522 with the aim of ensuring natural resource and landscape integrity and meeting recreation needs of the public more efficiently. Küçükelmalı Nature Park is one of the eminent nature parks in our country with natural and environmental characteristics such as rich vegetation and wild life. In this study, recommendations are proposed considering touristic attraction of Küçükelmalı Natural Park in relation with its natural and human environmental characteristics, sustainable management of such spots within conservation-use balance, priority issues and solutions for such issues.},author={ZAFER BAŞKAYA},year={2017},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
