Abstract

The goal of this study is to review the impact of personal innovativeness level on the perception of career compatibility. In accordance with this goal, the data was obtained with the survey technique with the use of random sampling method from the students who receive their training at Bartin University’s Vocational School for Higher Education (BVSHE) and Bulent Ecevit University’s Zonguldak Vocational School for Higher Education (ZVSHE) in 2017-2018 educational year. The survey was distributed to 1000 students and 840 of them turned back. After the review, 806 of the surveys were found as proper to the analysis. The demographic information of students who participated into the research was analyzed with the frequency and percentage distributions. According to the property which was given in order to test the hypothesis, Independent T-test, One-Way Anova or Kruskal Wallis-H test was used. As a result of the research, the mean of students’ career compatibility points and personal innovativeness level points were respectively found as 3,6745 and 62,0980. As a result, it was determined that there was a significant difference statistically between the students’ personal innovativeness level and their perception on the career compatibility.
