Abstract

According to the extant inscriptions; the mosque located in Fatih’s Eminönü area was built in 1558 on behalf of the daughter of Sultan Süleyman (Mihri-mah?)This mosque has been continueously confused with another mosque of similar name because it has not been addressed by the researchers that studied the 16th century. This building which it’s immediate surroundings have un-derwent a change in the 18th century, has been affected by the change pro-cess.The mosque that seen a renovation in the later period, is of capital impor-tance because of two vaulted room located in it’s infrastructure, and of it’s re-lation to a Nakshi Tekke that belongs to the Köprülüzade Mustafa Pasha chari-table institution.
