Abstract

The Qasida-i Zaynabiya, attributed to Sālih bin Abdulkuddûs by some sources but also attributed by other sources to Ali, is in Arabic and consists of 55, 60, 65 or 66 couplets. It is not known exactly when, where and by whom The Qasida-i Zaynabiya was written. The Qasida-i Zaynabiya, besides Arabic, has been translated into Turkish and expounded. Two Turkish copies of the Qasida-i Zaynabiya, one of which is translation and the other is interpretation, have been discovered so far. One of these copies is called “Akîde-i Edebiyye Terceme-i Kasîde-i Zeynebiyye” written by Ibn al-Emin Ahmed Izzet and the other is called “en-Nasîhatü'l-Edebiyye fî Şerhi'l-Kasîdeti'z-Zeynebiyye” created by Mehmet Sabri Yetkin. The focus of this study is the en-Nasîhatü'l-Edebiyye fî Şerhi'l-Kasîdeti'z-Zeynebiyye written by Mehmet Sabri Yetkin. In this study, was given information about life and works of Mehmet Sabri Yetkin after giving information about the Qasida-i Zaynabiya and introducing the translation and interpretation of Qasida-i Zaynabiya. After that, the method of interpretation of en-Nasîhatü'l-Edebiyye fî Şerhi'l-Kasîdeti'z-Zeynebiyye was discussed. Finally, the text of the transcription created from the copy of the en-Nasîhatü'l-Edebiyye fî Şerhi'l-Kasîdeti'z-Zeynebiyye found in the National Library under registration number 06 Mil Yz A 8750 was added to the end of study.
