Information on the origins of Uighur Turks and the significant events has been written up in Old Turkish and Chinese. As it will be anticipated, majority of the sources containing records on Uighurs has been written up in Chinese. Unfortunately, not all of the official Chinese annuals that provide quite detailed and rich-content information on Uighurs have been translated to Turkish. It is an important phenomenon that, throughout the history, the old and rich Asia believed in religions such as Buddhism and Maniheism, and followed the direction to the west from where they were living in the Uighurs' history, which had a very bright past. In this brief study, we will make good efforts to evaluate the migrations of Uighurs and Yugurs to the west, as well as the saga on their movement of migration mainly relying on the Chinese sources.},author={Ayhan AFŞIN ÜNAL},year={2017},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
